Named after the roadway that runs through the length of Argentina, R40 offers a rotating menu of shareable plates, a backyard space, an underground wine cellar with more than 70 varieties and cocktails in the heart of Long Island City in Queens, NYC.
The restaurant features a custom-designed parrilla where executive chef, Giovanni Porto, grills a deluxe Argentinian meal for two, comprising of skirt steak, short rib, sweetbreads, chorizo, blood sausage, and a chicken thigh.
We were tasked with creating the brand identity for the restaurant and bringing the experience chef Giovanni felt through his travels to Argentina to life. The end result is a blend of traditional Argentinian-inspired design with an elegant and modern twist.
